Hilltop Cafe: Fresh Made-to-Order Meals & Ice Cream in Kyle, SK

This place is a great little gem. We had the cheeseburger box special, and ice cream and both were delicious and the hot food was prepared once we ordered so it tasted fresh. I was really impressed and we will be back..

Quick roadside stop. Ice cream was terrific. It was fun to use some old school playground equipment. I do wish there was a bathroom for public use.

Upon reading others reviews, we decided to stop at this Great little spot. 1st and foremost no one got sick (has happened on our adventure). There's is a place for the kids to play inside or outside, notably there is fast merry go round (my favorite) swing set big slide. Our food was good and like others have said the fries and gravy were great and pipping hot. This reasonably priced, fast service restaurant is one we will definitely be back to if we're in the area.

Great little spot to stop at if you're early for the drive in across the street or just passing through and the pricing is the cheapest I have seen in a long time.

It's a nice little stop on the highway, no longer indoor seating though, kind of sucks when it's really hot but no real complaints. Decent quick food and cold treats

Our van broke down on a road trip and this gem was right across the road from where we broke down. My husband went in and asked to use the phone as we had no service in the area. The older gentleman looked at our van with us and even though he couldn't fix it on the spot he tried. Also the server was really kind and looked up a little b&b (unfortunatly was closed down) but also tried to give us some suggestions on where we could stay ect... We eventually just got a tow truck to Swift Current but they let us hang out for a couple hours so were weren't in the rain and let us use their phone multiple times to let our family and work know we wouldn't be home as soon as we thought. My son enjoyed the little play area and when the rain cleared, the outside playground. The food is also pretty great. Both my husband and I were absolutley stuffed and the little snacks and Icecream... should be sinful it was so delish and huge serving sizes for price. If we are ever in the area we will most likley be back to this cafe!

Best milkshakes. Came here in 2019 on a trip to the lake and still amazing 5 years later. I think it used to be dine in but was just a take out spot now.
